Getting Started

First make sure that both your iPhone and the device you'll be using to control the app are connected to the same local Wi-Fi network.

Start Creator Cam Pro app, and tap button.

After a brief pause an address will appear next to the button.

Enter the address exactly into a web browser on the other device.

You should see live feed from the app.

Usage

The app functions similarly to the built-in camera app:

• to start and stop recording.
• Tap on the screen to set focus/exposure point.
• Long-press to lock focus/exposure point (tap again to clear lock).
• Drag up/down to adjust exposure.
• to view Photos (leaving the app will stop streaming).
• to flip between front/back facing cameras.
• to toggle streaming on/off.
• Upper-right corner button (in portrait mode) to show Settings.

The user interface shown in the browser for controlling the app is very similar. In addition:

• Press Space to toggle recording.
• to pause/resume streaming.

Multiple Cameras

Creator Cam Pro supports up to 4 cameras controlled from the same screen.

Simply start the app on all the devices (you may have to Restore Purchase on each for unlimited recording). Start streaming on each, and use the link from any one of them to access the remote control. All video feeds should appear on the same page.

Settings

Access by tapping the button in the upper-right corner of the app. Settings are grouped into sections:

• Camera - switch between front and back facing cameras.
• Resolution - select 4K, 1080p, or 720p resolution.
• Framerate - 24, 30, or 60 frames per second.
• Format - select 8 bits per pixel, or HDR format if your device supports it.

• Fit - toggles stretching video to fill the app screen on/off.
• Grid - shows/hides grid for composing the shot.
• Shake - enable/disable video stabilization. Recommended if the camera is not on a tripod.

• Streaming - sets the quality/speed balance for live video feed.
• Rotation - lets you lock the video rotation to portrait/landscape mode.
• Bitrate - sets the bitrate (quality) of the recorded video. Set lower if recording longer videos to save storage space.

Troubleshooting

The iPhone running Creator Cam Pro and the device used to control it have to be connected to the same local Wi-Fi.

Note that some Wi-Fi, especially public ones that display a terms of service screen, function in isolation mode, which prevents devices on the same network from communicating with each other.

If you're having issues getting streaming to work, make sure the Wi-Fi you're on is not in isolation mode. Typically home Wi-Fi, protected by password is the ideal case.
